Face Fat – Experiment #1:
Like most pressed-for-time professionals, I tried dieting the fat away first… given that the only change I had to make was to stop eating virtually every thing I liked the most.
I began counting every calorie that passed down my throat, stopped snacking, cut down the number of meals I ate from three to two and did every thing that these experts recommended.
What I found was that while eating too little did help me lose weight, it also left me a lot weaker and more irritable than ever before. I also noticed how my hair began to thin and my face lost its usual luster and began to appear pale, sallow and tired. My nails turned brittle and I began to crave fatty, salty and creamy foods… all of which were bound to make me put on even more weight than I had first started out.
Most importantly, instead of looking chiseled and attractive, my face began to look hollow and starved, with dark circles under my eyes and loose folds under my jaw line.
Face Fat – Experiment #2:
My next experiment was with face exercises, which were relatively simple to do twice a day, as recommended, and took only a few minutes from my busy schedule every day.
I exercised regularly and methodically every single day for three whole months, making sure to do everything just like what the fitness experts asked me to.
With these face exercises, results did show up. The only problem was that they took too long to appear and were a far cry from what I had expected them to be.
Also, as I continued to look for better and more effective ways to boost my progress, I discovered that there were other, sneaky little causes for my face fat, which were tucked away in my diet.
These elements were not just adding fat, and years, to my face, they were also countering the effects of the face exercises regime I was following so meticulously.
The conclusion, which I then stumbled upon, was that losing face fat was not an either/or thing… which meant that I could not lose my chubby cheeks merely by restricting my diet or mindlessly repeating a set of exercises.
Also, simply following the same exercises every day was letting my body get accustomed to them… and so, they stopped being as effective as they were when I first started out.
